2012 Symposium

After skipping 2011, the Langley Bee Club is once again holding it's almost annual Fall Beekeeping Symposium. The date will be September 29, 2012. The location is again being hosted at Campbells Gold Honey Farm 2595 Lefeuvre Road in Abbotsford. The Symposium runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. SPACE IS LIMITED: Preregistration is required. Phone 604 856 2125 or e-mail jwcampbell@telus.net. Avoid disappointment; be one of the first 125 people to register!

Who
We are the Langley Bee Club, well that's what we call ourselves. We are actually the South Fraser Division of the BC Honey Producers Association. We are a collection of beekeepers from the Fraser Valley. We have some members who are well known in the industry, as well as new members eager to learn the art of beekeeping. See our Contacts page for further information.
What
We have regular meetings that include such things as raffles, guest speakers, question periods, presentations, and a library of beekeeping books. We host an annual Symposium of speakers and demonstrations. See our Events page for further information
When and Where
Meeting Location: St. Andrews Church Hall 20955 Old Yale Road Langley BC 7:30 PM First Tuesday of each month September- June
Why
The number of motivators to keep bees would be too long to list here, but some of the more common reasons are: Money, Honey, Pollination, and as a Hobby.
Our Mission Statement - "To share beekeeping knowledge and experience for greater friendship and goodwill. "
